BioFor player knowledge: Lana is all Smallville (minus the Henry Small plot) until about the end of Season 3. She only went to Paris for the summer rather than for school, and while she was there she and Jason Teague fell for each other. She returned to Smallville with Jason for her senior year, minus the Mark of Transference and Isobel Thoreaux. After graduation, the two married, and not long after Lana gave birth to a son, Whitney, named Whitney Fordman who was killed in action in Indonesia years before. They soon discovered their little boy was very special indeed: a meteor mutant. This caused arguments between the two, arguments that lead to their eventual divorce. Jason is not very comfortable with his son's abilities, and so Lana is left to basically raise Whitney alone. The two live in the apartment above the Talon coffee shop, where Lana still holds her job as waitress and manager. She's also decided to start taking a few night classes to further her education.
I would like to say Lana knows Clark's secret, told after graduation as per the comics (or so I've heard), but I will leave that up to any Clark she might interact with.
